Queen Elizabeth National Park fees 2023 : Queen Elizabeth National Park is the most visited safari destination in Uganda and the most bio-diverse park in the country with a beautiful combination of forest, grasslands and waterscape. The park is named after the late Queen of England –Queen Elizabeth.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in western part of Uganda laying between Lake George and Albert with the Kazinga channel crossing through its 700 square mile land area.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is a home to over 618 bird species which is the 6th highest diversity in the world and is the highest in Africa making it a perfect destination for Uganda Birding Safaris. The park also hosts 10 primate species such as chimpanzees, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys and 95 mammals including tree climbing lions, elephants among others.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is managed by Uganda Wildlife Authority which is responsible for drafting to the park’s fees

Annual park fees applies in the following incidences
- Applies to on foreign residents living in Uganda and East Africa countries
- Vehicle entrance fees is paid separately
- Not valid for chimpanzee tracking, hiking and other activities.
- For foreign residents to qualify for annual passes, you need to have a work permit valid for one year

- Vehicle and boat entry fees are valid for 24 hours except for concessionaire visitor vehicles who are to pay once per trip in the park
- Rescue vehicles to be charged the same rate as other vehicles according to the vehicle classification
- The Executive Director, Motorcycles, trailers, vehicles with inflammable goods, livestock, produce, poles, timber, sand, market merchandise, bowsers, heavy trucks, roll loaders and others are not permitted in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

- Camping: UGX 200,000 per month for a group of up to ten
- Extra persons will be charged UGX 70,000 per
- Protected Areas with Vacant Staff Houses will be rented at UGX 200,000 per room per Person per month for East African Researchers and US$ 150 per room per month by Non-East African
- Water and electricity will be paid separately
