2024 entrance fees for Murchison falls national park : Park entrance fees for Murchison falls national park in 2024; Murchison falls national park is the largest and most of the most explored national parks in Uganda. Murchison Falls National Park is home to many animals, including the big four mammals including buffaloes, elephants, lions and leopards. And among other animal species like giraffes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, oribi, hippos, Nile crocodiles, hyenas, primates like chimpanzees, red tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, olive baboons, and over 450 bird species. Park entrance fees are fees charged by Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) to all travelers over the age on 5 years in order to access Murchison falls national park and participate in numerous excursions safari activities like game drives, boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, sport fishing, top of the falls view, Nile delta boat cruise, chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest, nature walks among others.
A day’s park entrance ticket lasts for twenty four hours from the time of entrance and extra time spent in the park after 24 hours will be charged as an extra day. The entrance fees are separate from other safari activites like chimpanzee trekking safari, bird watching, and guided nature walks and among others. Children are persons aged between 5 to 15 years and persons below 5 years are not counted.

Annual park entrance pass applies to all protected areas for foreign residents in Uganda and east African citizens only, vehicle entrance is paid independently. Foreign residents require a work permit valid for one year to qualify for an annual pass.

Vehicle and boat entry fees are charged every 24 hours, but concessionaire tourist vehicles only pay once per trip into the park.
